SQL Server conference season

SQL Conference season is upon us it seems.

Unfortunately I don’t get to go to the PASS Summit, but nevertheless, it’s manic here too.

SQL Relay started it’s first leg (13-16 October) last week, and is now having a week of rest!

On Friday 24th October, I’ll be heading down to London for the annual Red Gate SQL in the City event. My only participation is to soak up some knowledge.

Then on Sunday I head up to Newcastle, in preparation for the start of the second leg of SQL Relay. On Monday I’m presenting at the Newcastle event my “Uncovering the hidden gems in execution plans” session which delves into some of the attributes I look for in the execution plan XML when performing detailed query tuning.
I’m repeating the same session on Tuesday in Leeds. I jump ship then and let the SQL Relay continue it’s journey down the country, ending in London again on 30th October.

I'm Speaking at SQL Relay 2014

Check back here after the event for links to the slides and demos.
